About me.
I’m Kimmy. Wife to a FIFO husband. Mum to three wild boys. Raised on a cattle station, now raising my own on the same dirt that built me.
Half the time, I’m solo parenting – juggling home life, school runs, toddler tantrums, and cattle work like it’s just another Tuesday. The other half? Still full of noise and chaos, and the kind of love that makes you laugh while you’re losing your mind.
This space isn’t polished. It’s not curated. It’s the real, gritty, beautiful mess of a life lived in the dust.
It’s where I unload the weight. Where I write what’s on my mind and in my heart. And maybe help someone else feel a little less alone.
Some days, I’m sharing cattle yard chaos. Other days, it’s motherhood meltdowns, budgeting wins, or grief that doesn’t let go. I won’t stick to a niche – because life doesn’t fit in a box.
I write what I live – raw, honest, and unfiltered.
Here in the Dust isn’t polished – but it’s real. Stories settle, hearts spill, and nothing gets swept under the rug. So grab a drink, kick off your boots, and step into the mess with me.
